Right so mg is harder to put together than real grade and high grade because they require more effort and require more experience since the parts are smaller. Thanks man.

I just started on the high grades they are easier for me but I do have my cousin to help me

For me is Master Grade perfect

I tried the godhand nippers, overall good but much too overhyped. You’ll still end up cleaning the part afterward with an exacto knife or sanding it down. So a $20-$35 nipper will be good enough for most.

I think high grades are good for practicing modifying your gunpla before trying it on higher grades, also good practice dioramas Good video, thanks for it!

my personal favorite gunpla kits are 1: Perfect Grade 2: Master Grade Extreme 3: Master Grade Ver Ka 4: Real Grades Specifically Iike ones from UC and CE era models kits the most, and the only model kits outside from the mobile suit of these two universes that I liked are the 00 Gundam(just the main 00 Gundam variants), and the Wing Gundam EW kits.

How long you let it dry?

I genuinely love my cheap glass files. The "mild" cutting action leaves more room for my ADHD self, AND I can modify them to a softer/safer cutting action and surface without feeling guilty. For example, sometimes i'll accidentally round corners due to overhang, so to prevent that have 3 that are sealed up with super glue but have a thin nub-sized strip left on an edge or dead-center. This lets me cut the nub without having to worry about damaging the rest of the part due to misperception or me just being an idiot in a rush. I'll probably buy the raser when i get into MG kits, but i suspect by then i will have little use.

the key difference between generic files is whether the cutting surface is circular or linear. the linear patterns one only cut in one direction and produces scratches. just be careful that not all generic files are the same

No. The answer is NO. NEVER buy loot boxes cos you are NOT gonna get anything “cool” or worth getting, better off just buying exactly what you want.

Anyone knows why after i wipe off tamiya panel line using mr color thinner it left white marks and it's frustrating to see especially on darker runners!!

Thanks for the run down man! Just back from Japan and got my first kit and it triggered an interest into the way gunplay is scaled and graded. So very helpful! Just got a HG but the RG looks like it would be a great second kit choice

Can I use the Siren as the only tool for sanding a piece? I don't want to buy lots of stuff just for sanding.

I was ready to hear "Erase is just crap for people who don't want to spend the money or time to do it right" and am pleasantly surprised it did this well. I use the eraser method because... well I'm just getting started, but I like my results so far.

I personally stick to the 1:144 scale, so far bought a handful of high grades, and one entry grade.

Gunprimer stuff really seems like a scam tbh. I mean all this stuff is so expensive, and does the exact same thing so many other products do for much cheaper. It all seems so silly.

Why RG after MG?

I started with HG Dynames and HG 00 Raiser Designer's Colors. While HGs are easy to build, they always felt a little underwhelming when finished. MGs and RGs are the way to go once you get better at nipping and sanding. I still don't think I'm a good builder, I don't clean up well or detail my kits but I think that's okay with MG at least. I'll never get a PG because I'll be worthy of the challenge that project demands.
